Thammasat University’s BAS and BC Preparation Programs for new students have concluded on a successful note at the Tha Prachan campus from 17th to 19th July. The programs included a range of activities and informative sessions aimed at equipping incoming students with essential tools and knowledge as they begin their university experience.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome from Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs (Tha Prachan Campus) and International Affairs. The first day offered an inspiring session on ‘Storytelling: Practical Strategies for Succeeding in College,’ followed by a session on effective note-taking from reading, providing valuable insights for academic excellence.
On the second day, students had the opportunity to delve deeper into various study skills. Sessions included effective note-taking from listening, sourcing credible information, evaluating academic resources, and understanding the significance of academic integrity. Additionally, they were introduced to the wealth of resources available at the TU Library, providing invaluable support for their academic endeavors.
The final day focused on interpersonal communication and mental health management, providing students with practical skills for effective communication and well-being throughout their university journey.
